• Telephone number — optional, provided if you would prefer us to call you.

3. How we use your personal data, and why

We use the personal data you provide through the sign-up form to contact activity and hobby providers about becoming participants on the Hobby Hub platform. In practice, this means we use your details to:

• respond to your enquiry and follow up about joining Hobby Hub as a provider;
• tell you about becoming a founding member or participant, and walk you through the steps to get set up;
• understand the activities and areas our early providers cover; and
• keep you informed about the platform, its launch, and relevant updates that affect providers.

Under the UK GDPR, we must have a lawful basis for processing your personal data. We rely on the following:

• Consent — by submitting the sign-up form, you consent to us contacting you about becoming a participant or provider on Hobby Hub. You can withdraw this consent at any time (see "Your rights" below).
