Most hobby businesses are built on passion. Not huge marketing budgets.
Hobby Hub was created to bridge that gap — to make discovering local activities easier, to help providers grow, and to bring people back into real-world connection again.
You are teaching classes, replying to messages, managing bookings, building communities, organising schedules, and trying to keep everything moving all at once.
Meanwhile, people are actively searching for activities, classes, hobbies, well-being experiences, and communities nearby… but often have no idea you exist.
Hobby Hub started with something deeply personal.
For more than 30 years, Joanna has dedicated her career to caring for families as a private maternity and night nurse. Supporting people through some of the most important and challenging moments of their lives has given her a deep understanding of the importance of connection, confidence, well-being and community.
The greatest inspiration behind Hobby Hub has always been her daughter.
Through years of navigating significant health challenges, hospitals and uncertainty, Joanna witnessed first-hand how hobbies, activities, friendships and shared experiences could transform confidence, improve well-being and create a genuine sense of belonging.
At the same time, she recognised another challenge. Thousands of brilliant local providers – small clubs, passionate coaches, creative classes and community groups – were delivering incredible experiences but often struggled to be discovered, relying on outdated websites, social media or limited marketing budgets.
She realised there was no single trusted platform bringing these two worlds together.
Hobby Hub was created to solve that problem.
More than just an app, Hobby Hub is a community-led platform built around people, purpose and belonging. It makes it easy for people of all ages to discover and book hobbies, classes and activities while helping providers grow sustainable businesses.
In an increasingly digital world, genuine human connection has never been more important. Hobby Hub uses technology to bring people together through real-world experiences, shared interests and thriving communities.
Every decision we make is guided by one simple belief:
Everyone deserves the opportunity to discover something they love.
What is Hobby Hub?
Think of us as a Netflix for hobbies, helping local people discover clubs, classes and activities all in one place.
From dance schools to sports clubs, art workshops to yoga studios, well-being classes to creative communities, Hobby Hub makes it easier for local providers to be discovered and easier for people to get involved.
They are confidence. Friendship. Creativity. Movement. Mental well-being. Belonging.
As a founding provider, Hobby Hub will help more people discover your classes, activities, and experiences through one simple community-led platform. We want to help you fill empty spaces, reach local audiences actively searching for things to do, and build stronger connections beyond social media algorithms and word of mouth.
You will also gain priority visibility as one of our early providers, helping shape the future of the platform as we grow.
Your feedback, ideas, and experiences will directly influence future features and direction. Most importantly, we want to keep things simple. No complicated systems. Just real connection, real community, and easier discovery for the people looking for what you offer.
This platform is free for the first 500 providers
